The Church of Alexander Nevsky in Potsdam is an active Orthodox church that is located on the site where the Russian settlement of Alexandrovka was located at the beginning of the 19th century. The inhabitants of this settlement were several generations of Russian military sent to Prussia under Peter I. The Church of Alexander Nevsky in Potsdam, as it came down to us, was erected in the late 1920s.
The temple is in good hands - under the leadership of the Berlin and German diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, and thanks largely to this, it has come down to our days in a beautiful way. The last restoration work in the temple was conducted in 1993. Today the Church of Alexander Nevsky in Potsdam can be recognized by the gently pink color of the building and the roof with four domes
The services in the Alexander Nevsky Church are held every Saturday at 5 pm and on Sundays at 10:00 . For tourists, the entrance to the monastery is free, although charity donations are welcome.
You can get to the church by trams No. 92 and 96. The stop on which you descend is called the "Puschkinallee Alley". From her to the temple about 400 meters
