The main bus station is in Mytilini, at El Venizelou, near Agias Irinis Park (tel: 22510 28873). Beaches of Lesbos
Best the beach near the capital - Vigla, located 5 km. In 12 km there is another good resort - Kratigos. Agios Ermougenis is a picturesque bay at the entrance to the Gera Bay, which is "closed" to the point of a lake, with a wonderful sea.

Mytilini (Mytilene) is the capital of the island, a picturesque town with a wonderful fortress towering on a hill near the center.
