I was (a) alone here in July 2012.
vacationing in this hotel alone in July 2012. I came to the island by water on a large ferry from Athens. The hotel is modest, but very cozy! The area is small, but there is a swimming pool with clean water. The room I had was clean with a large bed, air conditioning and a fridge. Cleaned every day, I left a tip of 2 euros every day. Bed linen was changed every other day, towels every day. The view from the hotel is stunning! From the top you can see the active volcano and the blue sea, which overflows into the sun.
